International Women’s Day is a global event helping to forge a gender-equal world and celebrating the achievements of women in all sectors on Monday 8th of March. True to the motto from challenge comes change this year’s theme #ChooseToChallenge invited people around the world to post a picture with a raised hand and an optional selfie card on social media to show that they are part of the movement.

Also, The Hub for Biotechnology in the Built Environment as a multidisciplinary and multi-gender organization participated proudly in the #ChooseToChallenge campaign. Members from diverse backgrounds followed the call organized by the HBBE People Sub-committee and the HBBE SDG, – & Climate Change Committee, and got involved to support equality and inclusion.
