PhD Designing with Agential Materials
We are seeking PhD candidates to conduct a ground-breaking study on “agential materials.” Utilizing biology fundamentally alters how we fabricate materials and structures. Envisioning a future where we might grow buildings, products, clothing, and other artifacts of our designed world requires us to harness the power of biological self-assembly alongside advancements in digital fabrication and computation.
