The Community Biotechnology Initiative at the MIT Media Lab organised a third annual Global Community Biosummit last month that brought together over 500 participants of DIY bio-enthusiasts from all over the world to convene, and continue the evolution of the ‘community biotechnology’ movement.

During this event, Sunbin was asked to present his ongoing research project, Bacterial Computation. His primary focus on the research was utilising bacterial cellulose to establish a tunable material growth control system.
