Research Assistant / Associate RESPIRE

We have an opportunity for a full- or part-time research assistant/associate to join the RESPIRE (Passive, Responsive, Variable Porosity Building Skins) project developing conceptual designs and/or prototypes of responsive, breathable facades.

This is a short-term post, starting as soon as possible and finishing 31 October 2024.

Senior Research Assistant in Bioscience

We’re seeking two motivated MolBio/SynBio researchers to join Living Construction, focusing on the production of sustainable leather-like materials. This project, to drive forward research activities for the project: “Sustainable Style for Clean Growth: Innovating Textile Production through Engineering Biology“ funded by BBSRC, is a collaboration between Living Construction HBBE at Northumbria University, Professor Tom Ellis’s Synthetic Biology Research Group, and Professor Koon-Yang Lee’s Future Materials Group at Imperial College London.
