Henry Gould
PhD Candidate
Henry is a PhD candidate at Northumbria University, working to discover novel biocatalysts for production of useful metabolites for industrial processes.
In 2019 he finished his Master’s Degree at Durham University, where he was synthesizing and analysing the anti-cancer properties of natural products. Then, having gone on to work in the field of protein chromatography, he moved into working with viral vector therapies before getting offered the position at Northumbria University.
He aims to put his broad range of experience to use in his search for biocatalysts that will allow for greener production of high value chemicals.
