Ed Robinson

I graduated from Newcastle University’s Fine Art programme in 2014, and since then have worked in a number of technical and fabrication-led roles, including working on large scale gallery installations as well as being a studio assistant to a number of established artists. Specialising in sculpture, my interest in material qualities and lifecycles was what drew me to apply for this role.

For the past two years, I have worked mainly as a Technician in the Architecture School and as a freelance contractor in the construction and landscape design industry. I was appointed as the Technical Support Officer in August 2019. I am currently training to become a permaculture designer and instructor, which I intend to complete by 2021.
