Hi, my name is Sarah, I have a background as an ecological consultant and I’m also currently undertaking a Masters in Landscape Architecture at Newcastle University. I’ve always loved design; however, I knew I wanted a career which worked towards protecting the environment, and from what I knew at the time, art and design just didn’t seem to fit with this idea. Since learning about Biodesign I now realise the opportunities to use science to create incredible structures, products and systems which broaden the possibilities of design while providing sustainable solutions to the environmental issues we face today.
