Since completing my GCSE's, all of my educational background has sat within the fields of art and design, without any overlap into the sciences. However, with a long standing passion for living a sustainable lifestyle and a fascination with horticulture and mycology. In the final year of my Interior Design BA Hons degree, I focused my final project solely around designing a bar, restaurant and retail space as sustainably as I could. Through my research I became fascinated with the world of biodesign and biomaterials, which has led me onto my current studies, a Masters of Research in Design, focusing around researching properties of natural processes to potentially develop biomaterials in the future for the construction industry.
